Mackenzie Targett, PMHNP

I’m Mackenzie, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults find balance, clarity, and confidence through compassionate, evidence-based care. My care is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and practicality. I believe mental health treatment should feel personal, not clinical.

Great to meet you

My philosophy is simple: listen first, treat second. I take time to understand your story, explain how diagnoses and medications work, and ensure every decision is made together. You’ll never feel rushed or dismissed; I value transparency, education, and collaboration in every session.

My approach to treatment

Our first session is about getting to know you. We’ll review your current concerns, explore your history, and discuss what you hope to gain from treatment. Most importantly, you’ll be met with patience and respect. This is a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin working toward meaningful change together.
